Who We Are:

The Highline Schools Foundation was established in 1999 with the purpose of providing community resources to help Highline Public Schools succeed. We believe that by helping to enrich the classroom and school experience, we can engage students to reach a higher level of learning, and the entire community will benefit.

What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected:

  1. Subscriber Information: Individuals that sign up to receive Highline Schools Foundation e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We may use this information for specific, limited purposes, as described below. You may always “opt out,” either now or at any time in the future, if you do not wish to receive our messages. When you sign up to attend an event, you will also be asked for postal address, telephone number and sometimes credit card information.
  2. Social Media: The Highline Schools Foundation’s website includes social media features (such as the Facebook “Like” button). These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets may be hosted by a third party or directly on the Foundation’s website. BTown Web uses information gathered from its website analytics (for example, User IP addresses) to help diagnose problems with BTown Web servers, and to administer and optimize BTown Web’s website. BTown Web also gathers broad demographic information from this data to help improve its website and make your browsing and purchasing experience more responsive, efficient, or enjoyable. Any statistics gathered by BTown Web are proprietary property of BTown Web. Your interactions on the website are governed by the privacy policy of BTown Web. 
  3. Responses to Email Inquiries: When individuals send email inquiries to Highline Schools Foundation, the return email address (and other personal information provided in the inquiry) is used to answer the email inquiry received.
