Give a little. Help a lot.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their staff. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please check with your HR department.

The following are just a sampling of the many generous companies that match their employees’ gifts to the Highline Schools Foundation.

Visit the Alaska Airlines electronic employee philanthropy portal to submit a matching gift request

Apple Logo
Apple

Apple matches employee donations to most nonprofits and offers a volunteer grant program that rewards employees who volunteer at nonprofits.

BECU Logo
Bank of America

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation Matching Gifts program offers a way to double up to $5,000 per person each calendar year.

 

Boeing Logo
The Boeing Company

Boeing generously matches gifts to positively impact communities. A $100 grant goes to a nonprofit every time an employee participates in a run/walk/bike type of event.

BECU

BECU encourages volunteerism and supports the projects their employees care about most through their Gift Match Program.

Google Logo
Google

Google’s gift matching program is open to full and part-time employees.  They will match any funds raised from participating in walk/run events or issue a $50 grant to a nonprofit for every 5 hours an employee volunteers there.

PSE Foundation Employee Matching Program is designed to encourage and recognize charitable giving by employees, board members and retirees. The Foundation values these gifts of time and money and supports philanthropic giving to the community.

Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo matches team members’ donations to any eligible accredited school – dollar for dollar, up to $6,500 per team member per year. This includes educational foundations that support schools located within the United States.

Expedia Logo
Expedia

Expedia will match employee contributions to eligible 501(c)3 organizations and educational institutions dollar for dollar, up to $5,000 annually per employee. The matching benefit operates on a calendar year and is reset January 1.

Gates Foundation Square
Gates Foundation

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation matches contributions at a rate of $3 for every $1 contributed, up to a maximum match of $30,000 per year. Additionally, they provide grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer on a regular basis. For every hour an employee volunteers with an organization, he or she can earn a $25 grant for that organization.

Employees who volunteer between 25-100 hours are eligible to apply for grants ranging from $250 to $1,000.  Employees should register their matching gift requests electronically
