The Gold Star Awards are prestigious honors in our school community, recognizing Highline Public Schools best and brightest โ€” celebrating the outstanding Teachers, Volunteers, Alumni, Staff and Administrators throughout the district. These awards provide our community the opportunity to honor those who have shown outstanding support of students and their education, and those who inspire us. Anyone can nominate a Gold Star, we rely on our Highline Schools community and staff to put forward their nominees.

The nomination process begins in January and winners are selected in early spring. Nominees will be celebrated, and winners announced at the Gold Star Bash which will be held the evening of Thursday, March 20th at Wesley in Des Moines. Winners will also be honored at the Gold Star Fundraising Breakfast, which will be held in early May at Cedarbrook Lodge in SeaTac.
