2025/2026 Excel and Impact Grants

Each year the Highline Schools Foundation awards Excel and Impact grants to give educators and staff the ability to provide innovative learning opportunities to students at all schools and grade levels within the Highline Public Schools District. Excel grants fund up to $1,500 for projects that enhance learning opportunities and experiences for students in a classroom or school. Impact Grants award up to $10,000 for a projects of a larger size and scope, often benefiting a whole school or district-wide projects.

This year the Foundation received 67 completed applications, and our Grants Committee was able to fully or partially fund a total of 40 grants. A total of $83,256.27 has been awarded to 24 schools or programs across Highline Public Schools, including funding for interactive technology, fine arts, STEM initiatives, special education, mental health, books and eBooks, college & employment preparation, cultural heritage, and adventures outside of the classroom.
