Oktoberfest for Highline

Oktoberfest for Highline is a perennial favorite event for district employees, foundation supporters, and our incredible community partners. Traditionally it is held at The Cove (the Normandy Park Community Club) in mid-October, featuring a delicious German beerhall-style dinner courtesy of The Tin Room and Dan the Sausageman, with local beers from our friends at Georgetown Brewing.

The pandemic and the related public health and safety concerns have forced the Foundation to reimagine Oktoberfest in 2020 (and again in 2021), so Oktoberfest To Go was born! The same delicious food and drinks enjoyed at home, all in support of the Highline Schools Foundation, and our work within Highline Public Schools.

Thank you to our longtime supporters: Dan House and his businesses The Tin Room and Dan the Sausageman, Oktoberfest just wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without your delicious food! Thank you to Georgetown Brewing and Alaska Airlines for your In-Kind support!

Oktoberfest Guests

We are currently planning the 2022 Oktoberfest for Highline! Check back in early summer for more information.

The 2021 event is over, and we would like to thank everyone who purchased dinners and beers, and made a gift to the Foundation for Oktoberfest To Go. Huge thanks to our in-kind donors who provided fantastic items for our Oktoberfest Online Auction, and also to all those who browsed, bid, and won these fun items!
